I had an awesome experience over the weekend. I stayed at a friend’s apartment in Philadelphia and the bed in the room had a weird headboard that covered part of the mattress. As a result, I was about two inches too tall for the bed! I had to scrunch up a little bit to fit right, and even then I could easily touch my feet to the bottom of the bed while my head was touching the top.
It made me feel so huge! I loved it. And my friend and her roommate are fairly petite – 5’2″ and 5’0″ – so when I got up in the morning I felt like a giant woman in munchkin land. They hardly even use their top cabinets in the kitchen! They’re so tiny and I felt so big, I just wanted to pick them both up at the same time.
But they would have thought that was rude, and we mustn’t frighten or upset my little subjects. (At least not when they’re letting me stay over in their apartment.)
That sounds like a neat experience!
Boy, I’d love to have a woman who was too tall for the bed sleep over….
