Wow! Elisany Silva is the tallest teenage girl in the world!

According to Fox News:

It’s hard enough to fit in as a teenager, but for 14-year-old Elisany Silva from Brazil, blending into the crowd is even tougher because she stands at a staggering 6-feet, 9-inches tall.

Elisany, thought to be one of the tallest teenagers in the world, could be suffering from a rare disease that has caused her to tower over the rest of her peers, the Daily Mail reported. But Elisany and her family are not sure exactly what that condition is because they can’t afford to see a doctor.

Due to her abnormal height, the teen said she was forced to quit school because she became too tall to ride the bus.

She’s so beautiful it’s hard to believe there’s anything seriously wrong with her.

I was reading StyleList at work today (OK, you caught me) and found a story about a publisher shrinking leggy, 5’10″ Khloe Kardashian down to the size of her diminutive sisters for a book cover. From the article:

This isn’t the first time the Kardashians have leveled the playing field.

In July, the trio appeared in an ad for their Beach Bunny swimwear line, with 5-foot-10 Khloe looking only an eensy bit taller than 5-foot-2 Kourtney and 5-foot-3 Kim.

Kind of distressing, isn’t it? Us tall girls shouldn’t be afraid to show it, and that includes on book covers.

Pink as a Gorgeous Giantess

In a new “tour” music video for “Please Don’t Leave Me”, Pink appears as a circus giantess looking for a man with a heart as big as hers. It’s very sweet and the video rendering really makes it look like an old silent movie. I think it’s delightful.

Pink makes an utterly charming and lovely giantess.

I thought I remembered seeing this movie as a kid, but no one else had ever heard of it and so I thought I must be wrong. It turns out I was right! The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock, featuring a post-Abbott Lou Costello and Dorothy Provine as his giantess wife!

It looks awful, but the giantess scenes are cute. And there’s this great line: “I Don’t Care How BIG She Gets! I Love Every Gorgeous Yard of Her!”

Giant Super Lois Lane!

Lois Lane got big!

Oh, damn this gets me hot! Hells yeah!

Not only is Lois Lane a giantess in this comic, she’s super, too! That would be the only thing better than being a giantess: being a super-giantess!

I didn’t know this but Lois Lane had her own comic book back in the 50s and 60s, and pretty much every issue would have her suffering some ridiculous fate. She was often transformed into something else, and my friend says he thinks that she became a giantess on at least one other occasion.

Even better, there’s a whole city of shrunken people in those old Superman comics. The city is in a bottle! I imagine myself carrying that bottle around: big powerful me with thousands of tiny people totally in my control! What if I dropped it and then stepped on the survivors?

I may need to get my hands on some of these old comics.
