Wow! Elisany Silva is the tallest teenage girl in the world!
According to Fox News:
It’s hard enough to fit in as a teenager, but for 14-year-old Elisany Silva from Brazil, blending into the crowd is even tougher because she stands at a staggering 6-feet, 9-inches tall.
Elisany, thought to be one of the tallest teenagers in the world, could be suffering from a rare disease that has caused her to tower over the rest of her peers, the Daily Mail reported. But Elisany and her family are not sure exactly what that condition is because they can’t afford to see a doctor.
Due to her abnormal height, the teen said she was forced to quit school because she became too tall to ride the bus.
She’s so beautiful it’s hard to believe there’s anything seriously wrong with her.
Hopefully, she’ll be able to see a doctor. gigantism can be caused by acromegaly, a serious condition that causes abnormal growth.
She’s young and with luck, she’ll be tall and healthy.
As you suggest, people who have the condition of gigantism and aren’t simply tall usually have some abnormality in their appearance, but from her close-up, I’d think she’s a normal young adult woman who wouldn’t stand head and shoulders above me. She looks well above fourteen years of age, and her voice is pretty deep, if you watch a video of her.
From some other articles, it appears that she’s already gotten a modeling gig, hopefully the first of many that will allow her to see a doctor and get treatment, if necessary.
With legs that long, I’m surprised she doesn’t just walk to school! And to think, she may still be growing.

She’s not the tallest teenage girl in the world. That would be Marvadene “Bubbles” Anderson. She’s six-eleven, and still growing.
